Daren & Amanda {married}

Daren and Amanda have a relationship that makes you step back and think ‘they just fit’ – truly, a perfect linking of two hearts uniquely molded together. Their wedding day was stunningly perfect – late fall sunshine poured through every window as Amanda joyfully prepared at their town house. Surrounded by her parents, bridesmaids and several handsome feline friends. Amanda’s attention to detail saturated their wedding day; the moment I stepped through her front door her love of vintage and perfectly coordinating decor made me realize how carefully she’d woven in the things she loves to her wedding day. Every little touch pointed back to the gentle, lovely woman who chose them.clary4 clary1 clary2 clary3 clary5As soon as both parties had arrived at Whitetail Ridge Golf Club, Daren was set for the couple’s first look. Amanda approached him slowly and it was one of the most peaceful and sincere first looks we’ve ever witnessed. So many emotions led up to this moment and their reactions were priceless.
The couple enjoyed a few quiet moments together before their bridal party joined them. We had so much fun with this group. The sunshine and warm breeze made it feel like summer!

Chase + Heather {married}

Chase and Heather knew each other for a long time, became friends, then co-workers, and after a night out together, they knew they couldn’t live without each other. Chase surprised Heather with a proposal on a road trip to Montana. Heather thought they were setting the camera up to take a photo of them with the beautiful sunset, but Chase set it to ‘record’ got down on one knee and asked her to marry him while the camera filmed the whole romantic proposal!
The couple was married on a gorgeous day in May at Whitetail Ridge Golf Club. There were beautiful rose-gold details woven throughout the day that matched her engagement ring perfectly. After all the final touches were ready, the couple had their first look and it was such a special moment between them – they were so happy to see each other and have a moment to themselves that they will never forget. The happiness on their faces said it all and you could tell it was one of their favorites parts of their wedding day. Then their bridal party joined in for some fun group photos. 01

Joe & Emily {married}

August 31, 2014 dawned drenched in rich, late summer color and intense heat. Joe & Emily greeted us with equally intense anticipation and excitement as their wedding day began. The morning was a flurry of family bustling between rooms at the Hampton Inn as the bride and groom laughed and hugged their ways through all the preparations. Emily is a very thoughtful, intentional person and each tiny detail of her ensemble was carefully curated. Her aunt’s ring, the beaded purse from her first communion, organza flowers that matched her dresses belt – every last detail was in place.ringson deets Joe1The theme of this wedding could easily be family – Joe and Emily were surrounded by their parents, aunts, uncles, cousins and closest friends throughout the day. Each present to provide timely hugs, happy tears and sandwiches — and the ever helpful assist from Joe’s father with the cuff links.
